I lived in Atlanta up to age 18 and then back and forth from Boone NC - Atlanta - Fort Collins CO - Boulder CO- Atlanta - Greenville SC- Atlanta - Buford GA - Tamassee SC - Atlanta - Flagstaff, AZ - Camp Verde AZ - Atlanta. I studied photography because I thought I couldn't draw. I studied graphic design because of the same thing. Finally one has to "get with the program"... and so it was with me. I started doing my art, my doodles started it all off, with my coloring book (at the bottom of my NEW page). I have done many craft shows (fun and hard). One wholesale show in Chicago. I AM STARTING TO DO SHOWS AGAIN, IN THE ATLANTA AREA! Dunwoody Divas, Inman Park, Kirkwood, Art-B-Que (Avondale Estates), FOLK FEST IS NEXT IN AUGUST, then there's Brookhaven, Dunwoody Methodist Church, Marist, Pine Lake Festival,
In Memorium... Bucky was the BEST CAT ever. A neighbor had him in a cage when I was out looking for Sunshine, I said "no I don't want it" Then I thought about how his fate was not good (not much cat compassion in the neighborhood) so I looked in the cage. Oh boy that was it. He was so vicious at 4 weeks cuz his eyes were glued shut with puss, and that must have been terrifying out there on his own (made him easy to catch) So the vet had to put him to sleep to work on him, cleaned his eyes and the pic on the left is just after that! Bye to the best personality I've ever known. I don't know how I will live without him but I will do my best. CHARLENE PICTURED TOO, SHE IS STILL WITH US!!!  (she's from under a 'not so nice' house, probably is Bucky's cousin, and she was sick and unwanted)... amazing how such gorgeous sweetness is treated in our society!
QUEEN OBOE! I found her many years ago at the Post Office on Washington Street, Greenville SC hiding behind the newspaper boxes (busy street!) she was itty bitty!
Oboe in Flagstaff on our picnic table where we lived at the KOA Campground

Below is Jocassee. She is named after a lake in South Carolina. She's very fetching! If you throw a stick (or anything) for her to run after, she will be very happy, as long as you do it a thousand times in a row. She is about 9 years old. She came from the Walmart parking lot in Seneca, SC. AND she's the winner of the "How Many Things Can You Fit In Your Mouth Contest" (See painting on the NEW page) and the inspiration behind "Nothing Says "I Love you" like a Waggy Butt" (magnet and print) AND, she's the "Wise Being who said 'let go of anger so there's more room for love in your heart' "

Oboe, Calvin (R.I.P.) and Dolly (R.I.P.) traveling from GA to AZ

BELOW IS JOEY. He just can't help but be gorgeous. He was a stray and now he's home. (and boy does he have a long story... before I got him even... and he was only 7 months old! The vet I took him to in Walhalla knew him (as Sport)  He will be 10 this August, 2010. I'm happy to tell you the story if you want to know.

INTRODUCING LOVIE: He was a stray at the KOA Campground in Flagstaff, frequently scaring people by jumping out of the dumpster. He was RATTY. I cut off all his matted hair and it's grown back beautifully. As his name suggests, he is slightly AFFECTIONATE.

She's a Supermodel of the Cat world, and yet very Tomboyish. I think she wants to be a dog... very very sweet. And she's colored so well, she must be very artistic... she's my Muse.
Jetson. (putting his dead mouse down to eat) I took him in from my neighborhood, but before we left AZ to come back to GA, he disappeared, maybe cuz he wanted to stay in that neighborhood, but at least he's fixed and we had great fun together!

I found her in the empty lot next door, blind in one eye and starving. What a GORGEOUS SWEET LOVING GIRL. I nursed her back to health and then she disappeared one day. All my cats are indoor/outdoor.
