This is a partial view (there are more mountains to the right) from my backyard.

Hello, I'm Claire Vohman the famous artist.

I lived in Atlanta up to age 18 and then back and forth from Boone NC  (atlanta) Fort Collins CO - Boulder CO (atlanta) Greenville SC (atlanta) Buford GA - Tamassee SC (atlanta) - Flagstaff AZ, and now Camp Verde AZ. I studied photography because I thought I couldn't draw. I studied graphic design because of the same thing. Finally one has to "get with the program"... and so it was with me. I started doing my art, my doodles started it all off, with my coloring book (at the bottom of my NEW page). I have done many craft shows. One wholesale show in Chicago. At some point, animals started coming into my life. Presently I live with Oboe (cat), Joey (dog), Jocassee (dog), Lovie (cat), Sunshine (cat), Bucky (cat). SEE BELOW for awesome pictures.

A new cat arrived in a box, Sept. 2007! We didn't realize we had ordered another one! She sure is SPECIAL... Sunshine is her name ~ she's blind in one eye and limps and was only 5 pounds (5-6  years old). We are fattening her up and she's very RAMBUNCTIOUS so she must be happy here. She's now "fixed" and had her teeth cleaned this Oct.'07 UPDATE. No more limp!!! Getting healthier every day! UPDATE Missing since June 4, pray for her safe return, I expect her back ANY DAY NOW!!

QUEEN OBOE! I found her 11 years ago at the Post Office on Washington Street, Greenville SC hiding behind the newspaper boxes (busy street!) she was itty bitty!

BELOW IS JOEY. He just can't help but be gorgeous. He was a stray and now he's home. He turned 8 August 2008

What a cutie pootie pie! Joey, gorgeous as ever.

Calvin has gone (10/07). He never came home (coyotes?), soon after Sunshine arrived He was the smoochiest lad, and he is missed and loved. He's the brother of Audrey and Geronimo (below right)

Calvin, Oboe and Dolly, in my diesel dually driving from Atlanta to Arizona August 2005. There are also two large dogs and one more cat traveling with us.
BUCKY the wondercat. Joined family June 10. Born on May 16 (approx.) 2008. He was wild and untameable for 2 days, then became a little buttercup... although his bites are getting harder! (and oftener) He's a little tasmanian bundle of heavenly joy!!!

INTRODUCING LOVIE: He was a stray at the KOA Campground in Flagstaff, frequently scaring people by jumping out of the dumpster. He was RATTY. I cut off all his matted hair and it's grown back beautifully. As his name suggests, he is slightly AFFECTIONATE.

Below is Jocassee. She is named after a lake in South Carolina. She's very fetching! If you throw a stick (or anything) for her to run after, she will be very happy, as long as you do it a thousand times in a row. She is about 7 years old. She came from the Walmart parking lot in Seneca, SC. AND she's the winner of the "How Many Things Can You Fit In Your Mouth Contest" (See painting on the NEW page)

Princess Jocassee (there really was an Indian Princess Jocassee) gets snuggled up in the sheets from the bed, stretching them to fit her behind!
What a GORGEOUS gal! With that cute ear sticking up and all. (Jocassee)
ABOVE is Audrey and Geronimo... brother and sister of CALVIN (found wandering in my backwoods neighborhood in Tamassee SC). Audrey left us in Nashville (July 2005) to look for a better home. She didn't like the crowded conditions! Geronimo died in the winter of 2006, he is sorely missed, an angelic kitty while here on earth and now an angelic angel kitty in heaven.
Jocassee, Joey and Calvin on the couch, snoozling.
