Reverse Painted Acrylic. The clouds look different because they have a shimmery paint that looks different depending on how the light hits. So the flash created this effect.

This is actually a shadowbox. Hard to tell in photo. The shimmery white around the "Good Dog" and the glittery red around the "Bad Dog" are painted on the reverse side of the glass. The dogs are painted on a board behind. Beads are glued to the front of the window.

In progress, but I'm digging it so I thought I'd post it! It's like a shadow box, the dog and cat are painted on back and I used fabric in her dress and mirror in her flowers and paper in his doggie bag, etc.

I've had a sketch of this girl around forever! Finally I did something with it, and I LOVE IT! It looks better in person, so perhaps I'll sell it at a show soon! All reverse painted. Lots o' glitter! (and Purple!)

Just me trying something new and different. I'm on a watermelon seed/raindrop kick right now. More to come before the summer's out. I actually had the urge to try an abstract painting... can't seem to get there yet... if ever.
